Abstract

The goal of this thesis was to create a model for a web-delivered surgical training reference that could potentially make oral and maxillofacial surgery preparation more comprehensive and time efficient. The subject for the model is treatment of angle fractures of the mandible. The model could potentially serve as an interactive training guide, a source of review for a returning user, and a template for the creation of a complete oral and maxillofacial trauma surgery reference Illustrations, surgical photographs, video clips, suggested readings, and literature were combined in one easily accessed resource.
