E TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT INSPIRED THIS WORK: Before #MeToo , there was a debate about whether comics have the right to tell rape jokes. Around the same time, I was becoming a more vocal feminist, standing up for my friends who were a survivor and talking about my own experiences with crossed boundaries that left a bit of trauma. At some point, I felt my voice was being drowned out in the censorship debate so I wrote this poem to make my thoughts heard.en
