Many times, in life we reflect on things in the past, present or future. Sometimes we face situations that we believe outcomes would have been different if we had done something differently. Many times, as we think through life's ups and downs, create new ideas, or try something different, "what if" is phrase that may permeate our thoughts. This poem was a reflection of a time when many situations were in my head with the "what if" pre-text. However, we realize at the end of a long day or deep thought, the "what if" really is just a phrase. Sometimes we let the "what if's" have too much power and hold us back and we have to gently remind ourselves to keep moving.en
