Over 500 Texas libraries participate in the TexShare Card program. Panelists, representing public, academic, community college, and medical libraries present summaries of their experience issuing and accepting TexShare cards at circulation desks around the state. The panel shares best practices and offers circulation and reference librarians' ideas for procedures, staff training, and administration of the card program. The program will also feature an update from the TexShare Coordinator. Come learn more about the TexShare Card program from your colleagues. This presentation focuses on the DOs and DON'Ts of accepting TexShare cards in a medical library.en
